Provide senior technical expertise for enterprise Maintenance, Patching, and Compliance operations. Serve as a technical liaison between automation engineering and operations, coordinating investigations, testing, platform readiness, and operational handoffs.

Selected Accomplishments

Improved patching automation reliability. Identified, managed, and reduced forced timeouts in Ansible that contributed to patching failures. This work supported a patching service that consistently exceeded its 95% operational success-rate target.
Helped resolve RHEL 10 patching issues. Drove technical investigation and coordination needed to maintain RHEL 10 through standard enterprise patching processes, supporting readiness for the operating system at scale.
Coordinated Ansible Automation Platform maintenance with zero service downtime. Worked across infrastructure, engineering, and operations teams to maintain service continuity during maintenance.
Made automation capacity risks measurable. Analyzed more than 23,000 automation deployments, connecting queue growth, workload contention, and execution capacity limits with forced timeouts. Provided an evidence-based investigation path and communicated unresolved risks clearly.
Validated maintenance outcomes beyond workflow status. Compared automation completion records with independent server and reboot evidence, identifying reporting discrepancies and documenting the reconciliation needed to establish actual maintenance success.
Led complex root-cause investigations. Combined evidence on workflow timing, server identity, DNS, routing, network interfaces, and reboot behavior. Brought specialist teams together to investigate underlying causes and define next steps.

Designed and operated Terraform-based EKS infrastructure with private workers, Helm, load-balancer ingress, IRSA, DNS/TLS, EFS persistence, and WordPress/MySQL workloads.
Documented platform startup, shutdown, Terraform state ownership, DNS handoff, validation, and recovery; used S3/CloudFront hosting while the larger cluster was stopped to control costs.
Built the AWS SAM serverless platform behind this site with Python 3.12 Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and CloudFront, using private VPC networking, AWS WAF, and TLS delivery.
